Montreal, I’ve been missing you. Friends. The planets were pretty well aligned. Imparting happiness. I wouldn’t mind at all being forced to live in the Laurentians. Great escape. Friendly and beautiful. Blessed time. Sadly missed Black Diamond Bay at L’Esco though. I wasn’t quite ready for the opening at Mouton Noir to leave Quebec city earlier. Delicious sangria and delightful sunshine. Warm welcome. Good weird mixed feelings to see one of my “Joseph Arthur” painting reproduction next to his merch table and especially Jason Bajadas songs playing in there. Yeah, I guess it makes sense. Thanks and gratitude to the owners and to everyone for their kindness and appreciation. I was invited to Joseph Arthurs show. I always find comfort in music. Very inspiring. Intimate venue. Bliss. Watching him paint and observing his gestures while he sings and plays the harmonica on stage was so emotional. I was moved almost to tears.
I hit the road tired and happy. A peculiar face-to-face happened very fast in the middle of the night. On the highway, Bambi was there. High speed, dark, lights, gaze, he freezed. Thanks to my good driving skills and reflexes too. I would’ve been devastated to hurt him. Radiohead’s 15 step was playing in the car.
